Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Akademik SMAN 3 Cilegon Berbasis Web Menggunakan Framework Laravel

In today's world, information technology plays a crucial role in both the business and education sectors. It is essential for enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of work in the field of education, aiding both teaching and data management processes. Many programs can be developed to support the optimal data processing in the education sector, one of which is the construction of an Academic Information System. An Academic Information System is a fundamental requirement that should be present in educational environments at all levels, from elementary schools to high schools and universities. However, some educational institutions, such as SMAN 3 Cilegon, still lack such an academic information system. The absence of an academic information system at SMAN 3 Cilegon has prompted the author to develop one. The author undertook the development of this academic information system using the Waterfall model and Laravel Framework. The construction of this system is expected to facilitate the data processing processes at SMAN 3 Cilegon, making them more effective and efficient.
